Lisa Pappey, Esq.

Attorney Pappey joined CFP Law Group in April of 2023 as an Associate Attorney.  She graduated from Saint Michael’s College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Suffolk University Law School with a Juris Doctor.  She specializes in the defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of insurers, self-insurers, and employers.

During law school, Attorney Pappey worked as a law clerk for Linehan, Gallagher and Mahoney, in house counsel for Travelers Insurance Company. As a law clerk, she represented Travelers at conciliations before the Department of Industrial Accidents. Attorney Pappey also assisted a senior trial attorney in civil litigation cases in the areas of tort law and product liability.

Following graduation from law school, Attorney Pappey began her career at Riley, Burke & Donahue practicing civil litigation and workers’ compensation representing injured employees in workers’ compensation claims and plaintiffs in the district and superior courts of the Commonwealth.

Attorney Pappey later joined the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Workers’ Compensation Unit representing state agencies in all phases of litigation before the Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents. While working for the Commonwealth, she also advised the Human Resources Division on employment and labor issues. Attorney Pappey is committed to being a strong advocate for her clients.
